89Dev built the TinyHabit: StreakMaster app as a free application. This SERVICE is provided by 89Dev at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This Privacy Policy is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at TinyHabit: StreakMaster unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Overview

TinyHabit is a minimalist habit tracking application that helps users build better daily routines. The app allows users to create custom habits, track daily completions, receive smart reminders, and visualize their progress through interactive charts and statistics. Users can customize habits with icons, colors, and schedules, monitor streaks, and analyze their consistency over time.

Key Features:

• Create and manage daily habits with custom goals
• Track completion status with one-tap marking
• View progress through charts (line charts, pie charts, progress bars)
• Monitor streaks and completion rates
• Receive local notifications as reminders
• Customize habits with icons, colors, and schedules
• Multi-language support (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hindi, Vietnamese)

Information Collection and Use

TinyHabit is designed with privacy as a core principle. Habit names, completions, streaks, and journal content stay on your device. The app does not operate a backend for habit data. Showing ads requires a network connection and the Google Mobile Ads / User Messaging Platform SDKs, which may process advertising identifiers and device signals according to your consent choice and Google's policies.

Data Storage:

• Local Database: All habit data, completion records, and app settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite database. This includes:
  • Habit names, descriptions, goals, and configurations
  • Daily completion records and progress tracking
  • User preferences (theme, language, notification settings)
  • Streak counts and statistics
• SharedPreferences: App settings and user preferences are stored locally using SharedPreferences for quick access.
• No Habit Data Upload: Habit tracking data is not uploaded, synced, or stored on TinyHabit servers or cloud services.
• No Analytics: We do not use any analytics services to track your usage or behavior within the app.

The app does NOT collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Habit names, journal entries, streaks, or other in-app content for advertising
• Usage analytics or telemetry for TinyHabit's own product analytics
• Contacts or media files
• Any data that could identify you personally

Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to function properly:

• Storage Access (Optional): May be requested in future versions if you choose to export your habit data as a backup file. Currently not implemented.

All permissions are used solely for their stated purposes. The app does not use these permissions to collect or transmit any personal data.

Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's security measures. We implement the following practices:

• Local-Only Habit Storage: Habit data remains on your device using SQLite database and SharedPreferences.
• No Habit Data Transmission: TinyHabit does not send habit names, completions, streaks, or journal content to its own servers.
• Data Isolation: Your habit data is stored in the app's private directory, inaccessible to other apps without root access.
• Device Security: Data security relies on your device's lock screen, encryption, and security features.

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device according to Android's standard app uninstallation process.

Third-Party Services

TinyHabit uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner ads on Progress and Settings. Consent for ads in applicable regions is collected with Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Habit data is not sent to AdMob as custom targeting. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or limited/non-personalized.

Advertising and identifiers:

• Google may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, and interaction data to serve and measure ads.
• You can review or change ad privacy choices in Settings when Google's privacy options entry point is required, and through your device's advertising/privacy settings.
• Google's advertising policies apply: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

We do NOT use:

• Firebase Analytics or other product analytics
• Crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
• Cloud storage or backup services
• Social media tracking SDKs
• App Tracking Transparency / IDFA collection in the current version

Other third-party dependencies used for UI and local storage do not receive your habit content:

• Drift: Local SQLite database management
• Provider: State management framework
• fl_chart: Chart rendering library
• flutter_local_notifications: Local notification scheduling

No Personal Data Collection

TinyHabit is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). The app:

• Does not require account creation or login
• Does not ask for your email or phone number
• Does not track your precise location
• Does not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files
• Does not send habit or journal content to advertisers

All habit names, descriptions, and notes you create are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.

Notifications and Reminders

TinyHabit uses local notifications to remind you about your habits. These notifications:

• Are generated entirely on your device
• Do not require internet connection
• Do not send any data to external servers
• Can be customized or disabled at any time in app settings
• Use Android's notification system (respect Do Not Disturb mode)

You can manage notification permissions in your device's system settings or within the app's notification settings screen.

Data Backup and Export

Currently, TinyHabit: StreakMaster does not include automatic backup or cloud sync features. All your data is stored locally on your device. If you:

• Uninstall the app: All habit data and settings will be permanently deleted.
• Clear app data: This will erase all habits, completion records, and preferences.
• Switch devices: Your data will not automatically transfer to the new device.

Future versions may include manual export/import functionality, allowing you to save your habit data to a file on your device for backup purposes. Any such feature will remain entirely local and under your control.

Children's Privacy

TinyHabit is a general-audience productivity app. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country) and is not designed as a children's app under Google Play Families or COPPA.

Because the app includes Google advertising, parents should not treat TinyHabit as an ads-free children's product. Habit data remains on-device; advertising is handled by Google according to the consent and ad-serving rules described above.

International Users and Data Protection

TinyHabit respects international privacy laws including GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and other regional regulations. Since the app:

• Does not collect habit data on TinyHabit servers
• Stores habit data locally on your device
• Does not operate a TinyHabit cloud backend
• Uses Google UMP consent messages where required for ads

There are no concerns regarding cross-border data transfers, data controller relationships, or compliance with data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) since we never have access to your data in the first place.

GDPR Compliance (European Users)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have specific rights regarding their personal data. However, since TinyHabit:

• Does not collect habit data on TinyHabit servers
• Stores habit data locally on your device
• Presents Google consent forms where legally required before requesting ads

You keep control of habit data on the device. For advertising, Google may act as an independent controller or processor of ad-related data as described in Google's policies. Use Settings and the Google consent form to change or withdraw ad consent where those controls are offered.

89Dev is not a data controller for your on-device habit records because those records are not uploaded to TinyHabit servers.

CCPA Compliance (California Users)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have rights regarding their personal information. TinyHabit:

• Does not sell personal information
• Does not share personal information with third parties
• Does not collect personal information for commercial purposes

Since we do not collect personal information, CCPA rights such as the right to know, right to delete, and right to opt-out of sale do not apply.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app's functionality or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
• Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document
• Displaying an in-app notification if significant changes occur

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

Your Rights and Control

With TinyHabit, you have complete control over your data:

You never need to contact us to exercise these rights since all data management happens locally on your device.

While TinyHabit does not collect data, we implement security best practices in app development:
